Application Process
Step 1: Team Formation
Form teams of 2-4 students or apply individually! If applying as a team, the maximum allowed is 4 students in a team.
A team/individual can submit an application for the Innovation Conclave under any of the following grade categories.
Grades 3-5
Grades 6-8
Grades 9-12
Teams can have a mix of students from different grade categories and schools.
Choose a Concept Area for your team, from the list of Concept Areas applicable to your grade level. Click here for the same.
Step 2: Draft the Proposal
Draft an ‘Innovation Proposal’ of maximum 2 pages which includes the following:
Chosen concept area
Brief problem statement
Target community/audience
Proposed solution overview
Expected impact and feasibility
Resources needed
Step 3: Preliminary Screening of Applications
Applications will be reviewed for eligibility and alignment with focus areas
Incomplete or off-theme proposals will be filtered out
Shortlisting will be done on grounds of merit, as per the rubric given below.
Entries may be disqualified if:
They contain plagiarized content
They violate rules regarding team size or structure
The submission is incomplete or not aligned with the focus areas
The submission is not in English
Step 4: Announcement of Shortlisted Teams/Individuals
Announce the shortlisted teams/individuals via the Ignición 2025 website
Publish the University workshop calendar on the website
Send out the Design Thinking Playbook to the shortlisted teams/individuals
All shortlisted teams/individuals will undergo a 3-month mentorship program with leading Universities from India and abroad, leading up to the teams/individuals presenting their final product or service at the event on 8th November!
